Youth Ministry

St. Bede's Youth Ministry is dedicated to creating a space where teens can come together in Christian community to be there for one another as Jesus Christ is there for each of us.  Our events are dedicated to connecting teens spiritually and socially through fun games, prayer experiences, service opportunities, sports and outdoor activities, the arts and more.  We aim to grow in Christian virtue through coming together and building a supportive and encouraging network that recognizes the youth as the Church of today as well as tomorrow.  With God's guidance, the youth of the St. Bede's will gain a deeper understanding of and respect of one another, serve those in need, participate in the sacraments, develop a personal spirituality and prayer life, participate in the Church community and deepen their relationship with Jesus.

Upcoming Events

4C Nights

Our next 4C Night is on Sunday, April 23rd! The topic of discussion will be on abortion. As it is one of the most controversial topics of our generation, it’s important to understand what our faith teaches as well as misconceptions about it, and to have a safe space to have respectful discussion on the sensitive issue.
Time: 6:30pm-8:30pm
Place: Teen Room (Elizabeth Ann Seton Room) behind the Parish Hall.
Meet us at the 5:30pm Teen Mass, then join us for dinner, followed by fellowship, conversation, and prayer!

4C Nights are evenings where all high school teens gather for fellowship, fun, and faith sharing.  4C is a place for teens to meet 4 Christ, 4 the Church, 4 Community, and to foresee what God's dream is for their lives. We meet Sundays after the 5:30pm Teen Mass from 6:30pm-8:30pm in the Teen Room.

*For Confirmation Teens: Attending 1 4C Night counts for 1 out of 3 Youth Ministry activities.

Click here for our 2016-2017 4C Night Calendar.

Teen Bible Study

Our next Teen Bible Study  is on                  Wednesday, April 26th!

Teen Bible Study meets every last Wednesday of the month from 7pm-8:30pm in the Teen Room.

We gather, enjoy snacks, explore a brief passage from a Sunday Mass Gospel reading and have a discussion about it. If you’re not familiar with the Bible or if you’re a Bible nerd, Teen Bible Study is perfect for you. It’s a place to ask questions, get to know your faith better, and get to know other teens. Seekers welcome. All you need to bring is an open mind, open heart, and any questions you may have.

*For Confirmation Teens: Attending 1 Teen Bible Study counts for 1 missed Confirmation class or 1 out of 3 Youth Ministry activities.
