Calendar Help & Guidelines

 

Login

Navigate to the Calendar.  Click "Login".  You will be asked for your username & password.  Both are CaSe SeNsItIvE.  After you log in, the numbers representing the dates on the Calendar will become hyperlinked.

Enter an Event

Click on the date you wish to enter or edit an event on.  A form will come up that will allow you to enter all the pertinent information into about your event. See the image below.

The form has 3 main sections .  The top is where all the event info is added.  The middle is where you specify if this event is repeating or not, and if so, how it should repeat.  The bottom section is for email notification.  That feature is not active at this time.

Please Follow These Guidelines
  1. The title is the text that goes into the box labled Modify the text for this event.  Make this title as brief as possible, yet as descriptive as possible.  These titles will fill up our Calendar, so apply your best writing skill.
  2. Enter all the detailed information (Who, What, Where, When, & Why) in the box labled Enter URL or text for popup window.  When you enter text here, the event title becomes hyperlinked to a popup window that displays this text.  See the image below
  3. Enter start and end times only if they apply.  They will be displayed with the event title if you enter them.  Don't forget to specify AM or PM.
  4. PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE THE DEFAULT COLORS.  This will give our calendar a consistent and attractive appearance.
  5. Please leave the box checked labelled Draw Border.  This separates each event form each other in the calendar.
  6. Please leave the drop down list labelled  when included in other calendars selected to the default selection (Display this event)
