Junior High Religious Education is different from Elementary Religious Education.  We meet in small groups on Sundays from 10:30 -12 noon or on Tuesdays from 6:30 - 8:00..  This is a two-year program, which precedes Confirmation and takes place in 7th and 8th grade.

We find that our junior high youth enjoy the socialization of these classes, sharing snacks, making new friends and talking about how they handle situations and what their Catholic response is in their school and community.

We depend on parents who are familiar and comfortable with pre teen kids to facilitate groups.  Don't panic!  We provide training.  It is a great opportunity to become part of a small faith community with others who work with this age group.

Regarding Registraion, Remember:

• If your child has been previously enrolled, you should have received the registration package in the mail, already completed with the information we have on file.  This will only require you update what has changed.
• If you need registration packet for your child, they can be found on the Downloads Page, here.

Volunteers needed for:

1. Hospitality - provide snacks for the different classes.

2. Assistance in the office - answering phones, photocopies, etc.

3. Arranging crafts for the class.

4. Chaperoning fun activities with Teen Life- offsite or onsite.

5. Bringing your ideas to Margaret Sardo for lesson plans.
