The World Youth Day Parish Reception on Nov 20th was a success!

As a wonderful conclusion to the Year of Mercy, our World Youth Day Pilgrim Reunion & Parish Reception on Sunday, November 20th was a success! We enjoyed Polish cuisine, viewed the film of our pilgrimage (compiled by Ken Buckowski), and a panel of our pilgrims shared their experiences and answered questions from St. Bede's parishioners. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to this wonderful evening

What Is World Youth Day?

World Youth Day is a gathering of millions of Catholics from around the world in a designated city, for prayer and worship, workshops and speakers, cultural immersion and exchange, and the experience of global solidarity with the greater Church and Pope Francis! The events of World Youth Day take place over several days and include liturgies, speakers, and an overnight vigil with Eucharistic Adoration. World Youth Day takes place every 2 years. This year it will take place in Krakow, Poland.
