PLEA FROM THE ORDINARIES OF THE HOLY LAND

On behalf of all the Ordinaries of the Holy Land, Archbishop Gomez has invited all parishes and religious communities to a day of fasting and prayer for peace and reconciliation.

He has asked that on Tuesday, October 17, everyone hold a day of fasting, abstinence, and prayer. Here at St. Bede, the rosary will be recited in the church after morning Mass. Eucharistic Adoration will be held in the church from 7:00 - 8:00 pm and dedicated to prayers for peace and reconciliation and will include the recitation of the Rosary to Our Blessed Virgin Mary.

Let us join together as a parish community in some simple and sober common moments of prayer.

This is the way we all come together despite everything, and unite collectively in prayer, to deliver to God the Father our thirst for peace, justice, and reconciliation.
